Welcome Jackie and Debbie
In April we said a fond farewell to both Mel Vincent and Michelle Monroe.

Mel had been with the C'mon Everybody Show since 2002 and done a magnificant job performing both Connie Francis when she first joined and lately Brenda Lee.  She has done a superb tribute to the great lady and made many fans up and down the country.  Mel has agreed to dep for us on some future gigs if required, so all is not lost.  We wish her every success for the future and she will continue to be a friend to us all.  As one door closes, another opens.

We also thank Michelle for stepping into the Show at short notice in February 2008 to cover Connie Francis for us.  She put her all into perfecting Connie Francis and we thank her sincerely for all of her efforts.

Stepping into their footsteps we welcome 2 fabulous girls, Jackie Jay and Debbie Bryan, who will be covering Brenda Lee and Connie Francis respectively.  After a busy day of auditions in February these 2 girls really stood out.  Two weeks later we called Jackie & Debbie back for our first rehearsal and when they sang together their voices blended superbly, like a female version of Lennon & McCartney!!  We were all knocked out by their great harmonies and they bonded so well it felt like they had been singing together for years, even though they had only just met!

Jackie & Debbie started performing in the Shows in April 2009.  They fitted in and gelled straight away and have added another dimension to the show.  Both have very different on stage personalities when performing their tributes to Brenda Lee and Connie Francis.  Jackie  appears bounding onto the stage full of energy, almost like a bottle of pop waiting to explode!  And in complete contrast, Debbie performs a wonderful sophiticated tribute to the great Connie Francis.  When they appear later on in the show as the Blackettes and sing in their own right you can really appreciate the power and clarity of their talanted voices.
Both Jackie and Debbie have been singing since they were young.

Jackie has been fronting a very successful five piece 50's Rock 'n' Roll band, Crazy Jay & The Partytimers, for the past 12 years.  She has performed in Rock 'n' Roll clubs, dance halls, hotels and holiday parks up and down the country, toured in Bulgaria, Italy and Denmark and also produced 3 successful cd's.  In 2003 she made history by playing the first ever Rock 'n' Roll gig inside the Houses of Parliament with a show in Westminster Hall.
Jackie is a true lover of Rock 'n' Roll  and a huge Brenda Lee Fan and she is delighted to have this opprtunity to perform her songs.  We can assure you her tribute to Brenda Lee will not disappoint!
Debbie  has been a fan of Rock and Roll, especially Connie Francis, ever since listening to her parent’s records as a child!  Since her training in Performance at the Trinity College London, Debbie has worked as a singer and compere in holiday parks and hotels, both in the UK and Spain.  Before joining the C’mon Everybody Show she had been touring the UK in the pantomime 'Dick Whittington'.  Debbie also features on the soundtrack of the 2007 film ‘Messages’.  Debbie is delighted to be a part of the C’mon Everybody Show and is thrilled to be singing all the songs of her favourite artists; A truly first class professional singer.
