In the recording studio - Day 1

Due to our C’mon Everybody Show progressing upwards and onwards and having changed some of our set numbers we wanted to record a new CD of the show as it is now, and also make a DVD. But as we have been busy in recent times playing all over the UK we have found it difficult to find the time to do it.
At last we have had a short break in our schedule and managed to get some time in the studio to put down some tracks. We have so far laid down 28 backing tracks for the first half, which was an exhausting day for us, but we still have to mix them down and add some vocals.
We are going back in again on 20th August to lay down all the tracks for the second half, and we can then put on the vocals and mix them down.
Things are going to plan so far and it is sounding very good as we are recording live to get the original sounds and get a swinging feel to all the songs. We are not sure exactly how long all of this will take to complete but at least we have made a good start.
