JERRY MARSHALL
Jerry started playing piano at the age of 4 and is completely self taught. He loved playing the Boogie Woogie and his influences were Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis & Ray Charles etc. 

Jerry was soon playing in local bands, writing songs, singing and playing his own compositions.

He first met Chris Black in 1967 on a recording session in Denmark Street (Tin Pan Alley).  They became good friends and Jerry has played with his band Blackcat for over 30 years backing many artistes from the 50’s & 60’s including Craig Douglas, Tommy Bruce, Don Lang, Wee Willie Harris, John & Gary Walker, Jet Harris, Screaming Lord Sutch, Heinz, Cliff Bennett, P.J.Proby, Brian Poole, Mike Sarne, The Vernons girls, Jess Conrad, Ricky Valance, Susan Maughan and many more.

Jerry has played in every top music venue in London and between 1979-81 performed live on Top of the Pops many times.  He has also demonstrated Keyboards & Samplers for Akai(UK) all over Europe. 

Jerry says he enjoys performing in the C’mon Show as it gives him the freedom to express all of his musical talents recreating unforgettable sounds of the hits from the 50’s & 60’s era.
