LEE MASON
Lee was born in Canning Town in the East End of London into a family who were all in the entertainment business.   His father was a great singer in the 60's with a band that was resident in the notorious Kray Twins Night Club in 1962!

At 14 years of age, Lee joined Sylvia Young's famous stage school to train as an actor, but as things worked out, he found that he was blessed with a pretty good singing voice and this led him down another path straight into a West End Show!

Lee played the part of Richie Valens in the Roy Orbison Show and after a year in the West  End they took to the road and toured all over the UK and Europe.

His next venture was with Paul McCartney who put together a tribute show to Buddy Holly at the Shepherds Bush Empire in 1995. Lee played and sang Buddy Holly and was backed by Buddy’s original band The Crickets, which was a real high that Lee will never forget! On top of that Paul McCartney joined Lee on stage for the last number and they sang Rave On together!

Lee has also worked with artistes such as Carl Perkins, Bobby Vee, P.J.Proby and the Everley Brothers and played in major venues all over the UK.

After constantly touring, Lee decided to have a break and went over to Tenerife to work solo. He was very successful playing Elvis, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran, Richie Valens, and ended up hosting his own radio show.

Lee returned to the UK in 2002 and joined the C'mon Everybody Show, which he says he enjoys performing immensely, and he has added the late great Bill Haley to his growing repertoire.
