This CD has got to be the best stocking filler ever and will put the “Merry” in your Christmas for sure.
Whatever your taste in humour may be, you will definitely find something to raise quite a few smiles and laughs listening to this 18 track comedy CD.
Every track on this crazy CD is self penned by Chris Fender Black and reflects some of his true life experiences and encounters throughout 50 years on the Rock n Roll scene. Many of you out there will surely recognise yourselves instantly on it (You Prats!!) and as Chris rightly states on track No.5 “It takes one to know one”!!
Not only is the CD full of brilliant comedy verse, the accompanying music stands up in its own right and is cleverly interwoven to compliment each and every track. You will have to listen to this CD more than once to fully appreciate the ideas, artistic content and construction of the songs.
WARNING For your own safety please make sure you are not eating a meal when you listen to this CD as 2 of our fans almost choked to death laughing at it.
If you are a DJ there is a great jingle called Alvin Piecrusts Lament, for you to play for those unhappy manic depressive people who keep pestering you with heartbreaking stories and impossible requests while you are playing your records!!
This Crazy Man Crazy Man CD comes with a full colour 20 page booklet which has explanatory pictures and song words for each track. This is mainly for the benefit of the deaf, and to add to the enjoyment for all you others. It is a one off CD and a MUST for your collection. C’mon Everybody Show
“Thanks for the really great evening on Saturday 1st September at Trowbridge’s Civic Hall and for the guided tour backstage after the show to meet all the band and artists.
It was the best Rock n Roll night I’ve been to in a very long time, and I’ve been to a few hundred in my time as a Rock n Roller since my early teens.
I sincerely hope you’ll come this was again in the not too distant future, I’ll certainly be keeping a look out for you. It’s a great shame as far as we re concerned that you are not local to us. Keep on Rockin’.”

“Chris Black, who has been on the Rock n Roll circuit since about the time the Fender Strat. was invented and went on to form Black cat, has put together a Rock n Roll tribute type of stage show, called C’mon Everybody. The show features Lee Mason performing the songs of Eddie Cochran, and with a change of clothes, he reappears later as Buddy Holly compete with the specs! A further change towards the end of the show has him back again as Bill Haley. Jerry Marshall does a tribute to Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles, he may look nothing like Ray Charles with his long blonde hair, but he can certainly play the electric piano in the style of, and it works.
I fell for Brenda Lee in the shape of Mel Vincent who really does look and sound like the original, she is a knockout! Julie Paris then takes to the stage with her tribute to Connie Francis. Both girls dressed in a series of fifties type clothes and were excellent as backing for the other performers as well.
Chris Black did his well known Duane Eddy numbers as anyone who has heard him knows well, he was brilliant.
With backing provided by Chris’s daughter Claire on bass guitar, a very proficient drummer and a knock out sax player the show was well worth watching.
The applause was at first very polite, then it became ecstatic until the audience were seen to be singing along with the stage performers. Yes this was Eddie and Buddy and Jerry Lee and Brenda Lee, it was Duane Eddy and Connie Francis and yes, when Bill Haley came on they were jiving in the aisles. But what was more important was that many had brought their kids and grandkids with them and they loved it: without these youngsters the music has no future.
So I say congratulations to Chris and his team for coming up with something different to promote our music - go along and see it”!!

Castle Theatre, Wellingborough, Thursday 20th September 2007
“Vibrant, fast paced and fun best described this non-stop Rock n Rolll show at the well appointed Castle Theatre in Wellingborough. We met distinctive front man Chris Black in the foyer beforethe show, busily sorting out his CD stall and had a brief chat with him, with the promise of a catch up backstage after the show. Such a pleasant man with a multitide of amusing stories to tell.
Rock n Roll music welcomed the audience to the large cofortable auditorium as we waited for the show to start. Chris kicked itoff with a rockin’ Peter Gunn admirably complemented by raunchy sax. Musical tributes to Eddie Cochran, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and Bill Haley followed throughout the evening by the eight piece band headed by Chris Black and featuring daughter Claire on bass guitar and backing vocals, who also gave a good rendition of ‘Tore up’ later on” .......
